Deputy Chief for Administration, San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program Dana Springs oversees the IT, HR, finance and communications functions for San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, a nonprofit law firm providing free legal services to victims of crime, abuse and discrimination. As Interim Administration Director, Springs managed San Diego Museum Council’s operations from 2020 to 2021. She served as the Mayor-appointed Executive Director of the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture from 2012 to 2018, and directed $15 million in public arts and culture programs for a population of 1.3 million people. Springs has 12 years of public art project management experience, and holds a B.A. in visual art from UCSD. She has consulted for Americans for the Arts, Caltrans, San Diego International Airport, and San Diego Smart Cities Accelerator Labs. |
