While BACC's desire to conserve your art hasn't changed, our artwork intake process has! Preliminary conservation consults are now handled via phone or video call to help protect both staff and clients.
If you have questions about the care and treatment of your art, here's how to get the conversation started. If you're wondering what your artwork is worth, please visit the American Society of Appraisers' to find a qualified art appraiser as BACC does not provide this service.
Email info@bacc.org with as much of the following information in your message as possible to help us understand how we can help.
A) Type of Art (for example: is it a painting, art on paper, photograph, frame?)
B) Artist, Title, Dimensions if possible
C) What questions or concerns you have and your preferred method of consult (phone or video)
D) Photos that show the item overall (front and back is ideal) and any details to help us understand your concern
Once a conservator has reviewed this information BACC will contact you to schedule a phone or video call to discuss. If after this initial consult, the work moves forward with further examination and/or treatment, additional instructions will be provided that outline BACC's procedures for appointments and delivering artwork.
