Overview

BACC offers treatment and technical analysis of artwork, collections care, emergency response and recovery services, and conservation education to both institutions and the general public. Our graduate school-trained conservators offer a rigorous and scientific approach to the preservation, examination, and treatment of cultural heritage objects in accordance with the American Institute of Conservation's Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice.

​Our institutional members, as well as the private and institutional clients that utilize BACC on an independent basis, benefit from their access to our highly trained, professional staff and state-of-the art equipment.

BACC's conservators rescue hundreds of works of art, family heirlooms, and objects of cultural and historical significance from destruction and decay each and every year. ​
