Conservation ORGANIZATIONS
The American Institute for Conservation (AIC), the national membership organization for conservation professionals, produces publications on topics ranging from the care of objects to careers in conservation, as well as on private conservators and guidance for selecting a conservator. Some of these brochures are accessible in an online, electronic version. All are available in print form and can be ordered directly from AIC. Preservation organizations
The Image Permanence Institute (IPI) is a university-based research center in the College of Art and Design at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) dedicated to supporting the preservation of cultural heritage collections in libraries, archives, and museums around the world.
